Food Trucks in Santa Clarita: Where to Find Them This Week |
A Valencia taproom with a truck almost every night, two year-round farmers markets, and the sushi truck that grew into a Saugus restaurant |

Food trucks in the Santa Clarita Valley don't keep regular storefront hours, so finding one usually means checking three or four social media accounts.
This guide puts the most reliable stops in one place, from Valencia to Canyon Country to Old Town Newhall.
Here's where trucks are parking this week, which markets are running, and how to tell a truck is permitted before you order.
A truck almost every night at Lucky Luke Brewing in Valencia
The easiest truck stop to plan around in the SCV is Lucky Luke Brewing's Santa Clarita taproom, at 25108 Rye Canyon Loop in the Valencia business park.
The taproom books a food truck most days and posts the lineup on its events calendar.
Here's what the calendar shows for the next week and a half:
Thursday, Oct. 22: Antojitos Mexicanos, 5 to 9 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 23: Bomb Burger, 3 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 24: Antojitos Mexicanos, 1 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 27: Antojitos Mexicanos, 5 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 28: S&L Streetdogs, 5 to 9 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 29: Antojitos Mexicanos, 5 to 9 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 30: Bomb Burger, 3 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 31: The taproom closes early for Halloween, and S&L Streetdogs is listed from 1 to 7 p.m.
The pattern is easy to remember: Mexican antojitos on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and burgers on Fridays.
The calendar can change, and the taproom serves beer, so check its age policy and the latest lineup before you bring the family.
Two farmers markets that run all year
The Canyon Country Farmers Market runs every Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Canyon Country Community Center, rain or shine. Market info
The Old Town Newhall Farmers Market runs Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old Town Newhall Library. Market info
Both are listed on the City of Santa Clarita's events page, and the vendor mix changes from week to week.
From the curb to Bouquet Canyon: the Kazuyo Sushi story
Some SCV trucks grow into restaurants.
Kazuyo started as a sushi truck in 2020, when Joe and Angelica Cubangbang launched it while indoor dining was shut down.
The truck became known for deep-fried sushi rolls on sticks named after local landmarks, like the Magic Mountain Stick.
Today Kazuyo Sushi has a permanent home at 28112 Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus, open Wednesday through Sunday.
Check the grade before you order
Food trucks in Santa Clarita and nearby unincorporated areas like Castaic and Stevenson Ranch are permitted and inspected by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
A permitted truck should show a county permit sticker and a posted letter grade.
